I was Born in 1974 right here in central Florida. I was Reborn in Christ at the age of 8 in 1982 I have lived a pretty rough life between then and now. And I have returned to my faith and thank God he is a forgiving God. No one is perfect and its never to late.

What I'm about to share with you is the most important thing that you will read or hear. I truly believe this and its my source of Salvation, patience and kindness. It is the grace afforded to me by Jesus my Lord and Savior.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

We all have sinned and will continue to sin acknowledging this and understanding this is the first step

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Now that we understand that we are all sinners, now we must understand the penalty for our sin which is eternal death. Not just physical death which separates us from our living loved ones its also causes our spiritual death which separates us from our God the father who created us and those who have died before us. it ultimately leaves us broken and alone for all eternity. 

But there is hope.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

Now that we know the cost of sin the next step is understanding that all sin in the eyes of God is the same. His perfect law will be perfectly judged and sentenced. And there is no amount of good works or deeds it doesn't matter if you feel like a good person, if you have committed just one sin in your life you will be found guilty. But there is hope and that hope is Gods Gift and that Hope is Jesus who died and paid the cost for you and me.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

So here we are and yes it is that simple. The price Jesus paid wasn't simple. He took on all our sins past, present and future. He paid it all. Jesus is the gift from God and like any gift its free. All you have to do is accept it by believing in Jesus, believing in his perfect sinless life and his death and three days later his victory over death through his resurrection. All you have to do is believe

"Father in heaven, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus' Name, amen."

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

So I will leave you with this. I know you can feel the sense of urgency in the world today and it wont be a political party or candidate that will ease this feeling that we all can feel that something is coming. There is hope in Christ and I hope one day I will meet you in heaven.
